Our Families
Our families are a huge part of our lives.
Alissa’s parents live in a town just outside of Boston; her sister, who is her best friend, and nephews, some of our most favorite people in the world (who call Alissa Aunt Lili) live in Massachusetts. They are so excited to have a new cousin. Boston is only a 4 hour drive away so we see Alissa’s family often!
Glenn’s parents, sister and brother all live in Michigan. We are also lucky to have a wonderful brother-in-law, 3 year old niece, and a new sister-in-law. We visit our Michigan family as often as we can and every summer spend a week with them on Lake Michigan.
We both come from musical and creative families who taught us to be true to ourselves, be kind to others, and ask questions about the world.
I see in Alissa and Glenn, important qualities to support a child's journey of emotional, social and cognitive growth and development. They have the spirit, creativity and connection within their relationship to create a beautiful supportive base for a child to grow into a confident and emotionally-connected adult.
