About Us

We originally met in New York City, and have been on numerous journeys across the country and abroad, exploring new places and creating lasting memories. Alongside our love for travel, we cherish the moments we spend with our loved ones, finding so much joy in the company of friends and family. We dream of expanding our family through adoption.

About Glenn

Glenn grew up in Lansing, Michigan and moved to New York 14 years ago. His Midwest roots are deep and his family and friends in Michigan remain his most precious relationships to this day. Glenn works in the specialty food industry and although he is passionate about his work, he has many other interests including: playing music (saxophone and piano), creating art, and spending time in nature whether is laying in a hammock, going on long walks, hiking, or bird-watching. Glenn’s childhood fostered in him the love of nature, an appreciation of good food (his family is in the food business as well), and the importance of being kind to everyone he meets.

About Alissa

Alissa has lived in New York for 16 years but is originally from Boston, MA. She works as a director at a Kindergarten - 12th grade private school in Brooklyn, NY (a nurturing school where we are so excited to have our child attend) and before that worked for Visual Art colleges and schools for most of her career.

Alissa has always loved making things (jewelry, knitting, embroidering), studied art and art history in college and has a masters degree in Art & Business. She loves putting furniture together and decorating our home, enjoys watching tv (including terrible/but amazing reality tv), and loves spending time with friends and family, talking for hours about life, hopes and dreams. When looking back on her own childhood, Alissa remembers a life full of music and creating art, and one where she was encouraged to be herself at all costs. Alissa hopes to bring these virtues to a child’s life.
